Waiting

I absolutely can't wait until people have read my book...for many reasons, but often, because I would love to share things on this blog that right now make absolutely no sense to anyone who hasn't read the book. I had a genius idea today that probably won't come up until at least book 3, probably more like book 4, and I really, really want to share, want to hear feedback and know what y'all think, and it's simply not going to happen.

Sigh. Maybe in a couple of years.

What do you write?

I write urban fantasy. I'm currently working on the edits of what will hopefully be the first novel I publish (though not the first I've written). I've titled it Conventional Demon. Here's the rough pitch:

Madison Fox is the world's newest Illuminant Enforcer, charged with protecting innocent, oblivious humans from the forces of evil...only Madison hasn't a clue how her powers work because she's spent her life avoiding them, and she's never faced even the smallest creature of evil. Now she must learn to embrace who she is and learn to use her abilities before her region is overrun with evil.

(Like I said, the pitch is a little rough, but I'm working on it.)

I like it. If you need a reader, count me in. ;)
