Something about this year's spring really crept up on me. First there was the overly warm late January early February, then it got incredibly stormy and more winterlike, but all the trees had started to bloom, tossing out flowers in the middle of week-long rainy stretches. I guess I got it stuck in my head that it was still winter, albeit a strange winter. Sitting around yesterday, with the windows open, birds chirping, my legs bared to sunlight for the first time since late 2008 in some comfy shorts, it finally sank in that it was spring. Officially, and seasonally.
